The Seahawks offense will overpower the Cardinals

Tyler Lockett. I am not about to suggest that Lockett will set a new personal record for the third straight game in a row. But I would be surprised if he doesn’t have his first multiple touchdown game of the season. If not for an uncharacteristic overthrow by Russell Wilson, he would have had two scores last week. Lockett has just one career touchdown catch against Arizona, but he also took a kickoff to the house against him. Expect more scores in this game.

Lockett may not lead the team in receptions again this week, but he’ll continue to draw attention away from spectacular rookie DK Metcalf. Metcalf had a stunning debut and has kept making key plays since then. Hopefully, the Seahawks will remember David Moore in this game, too.

Russell Wilson. Where do you start with this guy? How about that he’s 5-1-1 in games at Arizona, with 11 touchdowns and zero interceptions? Not too shabby, right? Wilson has yet to have a passer rating under 100 this year. He hasn’t thrown an interception yet, and last week finally avoided getting sacked for the first time in 23 games. That’s a function of his scrambling ability and his faster than ever average time to throw.

Having said all that, Wilson will undoubtedly throw two picks, get sacked five times and fumble twice. Nah, just kidding. I think it’s far more likely to happen to his counterpart for the Cardinals, young Mr. Murray. Murray will be a fine quarterback, but right now he has Larry Fitzgerald for a weapon and little else. I believe Wilson will put on a clinic for him Sunday.
