Offense

Quarterback – Russell Wilson

Um, well? Russell Wilson is the best quarterback in Seahawks history and he might just very well be the best quarterback in the NFL right now. League MVP? Possibly. The only draw back is that he plays in Seattle and Seattle likes to run the ball. Put Wilson on any other NFL team and he makes them better right now. Wilson was under pressure early (three sacks!) but escaped to make plays too. Seattle won. Why? Russell Wilson.

Grade: A+

Running backs

Chris Carson looked amazing! When he wasn’t fumbling. Carson ran for 105 yards on 16 carries but he fumbled twice and lost one of those. The frustrating thing is that you just knew on the 59 yard run he had that someone was going to catch him and knock the ball out and that is what happened. Thankfully, the ball went out of bounds that time. Other than Carson, Seattle ran the ball on just other carries, one was a Wilson scramble.

Grade: B

Wide receivers/tight ends

Jacob Hollister came up huge when the Seahawks needed him to with two touchdown catches. Tyler Lockett was crazy good (again!) with 13 catches and 152 yards. D.K. Metcalf had 112 yards receiving after halftime. And oh! Josh Gordon will be a Seattle receiver next week. Boom!

Grade: A

Offensive line

Early on the line was a bit not great but Seattle ended up gaining a season-high 7/2 yards per play and Wilson was free to throw in the second half. Now if only offesnive line coach Mike Solari could transpose himself into coaching the defensive line too.

Grade: B
