The 7-2 Seahawks play the 8-0 49ers in week 10 of the 2019 season. Seattle might simply be overmatched and here is why they won’t win.

Early this week I wrote an article saying that I thought the Seahawks would beat the 49ers on Monday Night Football in week 10. Maybe I lied? To be honest, this is a tough game for Seattle for a bunch of reasons. I will get to those in just a bit, but first let me complete this intro page.

Seattle has won 7 games this season. They have lost to the Baltimore Ravens and the New Orleans Saints. If a team is going to lose games at least there is no shame in the Seahawks losing to the Ravens and Saints as both those teams are pretty good. But both games were at home for Seattle so maybe they should be a bit upset by the losses.

The 49ers haven’t exactly beaten a murderers row of teams either. In fact, they have mostly played the maids who fill in for the full-time maids who clean murderers row on the weekends. San Francisco has beaten two teams that currently have winning records. The 49ers still have to face the Seahawks (twice), the Saints, the Packers, the Ravens and the Rams. That ain’t easy.

If the 49ers end up going unbeaten (hint: they won’t) they will have earned it. But maybe they will get a loss on Monday night when they face the best team they have the played yet this year, Seattle. But I don’t have high hopes for the Seahawks and here is why.
