Seahawks versus Rams rematch: Preview and how to watch
By Lee Vowell
The Seahawks are 10-2 and the Rams are 7-5. This was not expected at the beginning of the year. But anything is possible between the two teams.
Here is my single biggest concern when the Seahawks play the Rams on Sunday: Aaron Donald against Joey Hunt. Donald had 1 sack through five games. Now he has 8.5 in the last seven games. He is a force that Seattle will need to help Hunt with or risk having Donald demolish the Seattle offense.
But Seattle has done something in the last few games against the Donald and the Rams that is a bit unexpected. In each of the last three games against Los Angeles, the Seahawks have run for at least 167 yards. So they basically have used Chris Carson and company to run right at Donald and friends and not try to worry with Russell Wilson having to defeat the Rams by himself.
Which brings me back to Hunt. In the last three games, Seattle has had Justin Britt who is big and strong. Hunt isn’t that. However, if the Seahawks can find a way to help Hunt and Hunt can be as good as he has been in the last few weeks, Seattle will win. If not, Seattle will lose.
