player. 50. . DL. Detroit Lions. Derrick Brown. 6

Sometimes so many things are up in the air, it is tough to feel good about any pick. Will Matt Patricia be back? Will Bob Quinn? How is Matthew Stafford‘s back? Jerry Jeudy is still on the board and pairing him with Kenny Galloday could be tough to pass up.

But Brown is a good fit for a Patriots style defense, who accelerates well and converts it to power easily. He should be a solid plugger in the middle with 6-8 sack potential, making him a perennial pro-bowl player at that point.

player. 32. . WR. Arizona Cardinals. Jerry Jeudy. 7

Well, this would sting for Seahawks fans. Kyler Murray looks like the real deal and now the #1 wide receiver in this draft falls into the laps of Arizona. Shoot. Jeudy is a fantastic route runner, with an elite burst.

He has struggled with drops, because he doesn’t use his hands well, but his size and speed make him a dynamic playmaker. Shaq Griffin and Tre Flowers will have their hands full with Jeudy next year.

Isaiah Simmons. 8. player. 52. . LB. Jacksonville Jaguars

It’ll be interesting to see what happens in Jacksonville. The entire coaching staff and front office are on the hot seat and their gamble of paying big for Nick Foles hasn’t worked yet. If a new GM and coach come to town, could the Jags look to trade Foles or Gardner Minshew for draft capital, paving the way to select Tagovailoa?

Let’s assume they don’t and instead select one of the nastiest defensive players in the draft. Simmons started his career at safety and moved to linebacker but did not lose a step as he put on more weight to handle LB.

Simmons can do it all. He covers, stuffs the run, and rushes the passer. The more you learn about him, the more Simmons should start to sound familiar to Seahawks fans, possibly as the next Bobby Wagner.

New York Jets. CeeDee Lamb. 9. player. 30. . WR

The Jets are losing Robby Anderson this spring and will need to replace him. And while Jameson Crowder is a solid slot player, they’ll need to give Sam Darnold a deep threat to balance out the receiving core.

Lamb isn’t a burner, but he has great hands, long arms, and is as physical as they come. This all leads to an elite catch radius and a good fit for the Jets as they bring along their young QB.

13. . QB. Los Angeles Chargers. Tua Tagovailoa. 10. player

I just can’t see falling any lower than this. Phillip Rivers looks like a shell of his former self and LA will need a young superstar to market to their apathetic fan base. Tua looks like a star to me. He is a plus runner, is smart with the football, has a strong arm, and has the “it” factor teams look for from a QB.

Assuming the hip checks out, the Chargers would be fools to pass up Tua, just like the Bengals and Dolphins have been in this mock.
