Defensive line

This unit must be graded fairly because it was missing Jadeveon Clowney along with Ziggy Ansah. Seattle should have still gotten more pressure on Kyle Allen, though. Rasheem Green was OK but that was about it from the ends. Poona Ford played well on the interior, however, and tipped a pass that ended up being a K.J. Wright interception.

Grade: C

Linebackers

The worst part of the day for the linebackers was when Bobby Wagner appeared to get injured near the end of the game. He didn’t return after hurting his ankle but seemed to be walking around just fine afterward. Wagner still had enough time to get an interception and 10 tackles. Cody Barton also had 10 tackles and K.J Wright had two picks.

Grade: A

Secondary

Next. 15 greatest quarterbacks in Seahawks history. dark

This group started off with Shaquill Griffin and finished without Quandre Diggs. Diggs hurt his ankle too and that seems worse than Wagner’s. It might say something that when Diggs went out Marquise Blair didn’t come in to replace him, Lano Hill did. Has Blair done something for the coaching staff to find disfavor with him? Ugo Amadi almost had an interception – maybe he did? – but dropped the ball when Christian McCaffrey poked it out. Seattle allowed too many passing yards in the second half, but maybe that was because lots of people were hurt and the game wasn’t close.
