The Seahawks travel to Green Bay on Sunday in the divisional round of the 2019 playoffs. Here is what to watch for and how to see it all happen.

A lot has changed for the Seahawks in one season. When Seattle played the Packers in 2018, Seattle scored three touchdowns. None of those players will be playing for the Seahawks on Sunday (Chris Carson, Doug Baldwin and Ed Dickson). Seattle had 173 yards rushing but only 18 of those were from someone who could play for Seattle in the divisional round. Seattle had 5 sacks against Aaron Rodgers. Only 1.5 of those were from a player currently on the Seattle roster.

My point is a lot can change in a year and nothing that happened in Seattle’s 27-24 victory over the Packers last season will have any bearing on this game.

Even though a banged-up team and with all the changes in the offseason and as the season goes on, Seattle still has a few things that if they do them well, they will win. These are 1) stop the Packers running game with Aaron Jones, 2) run the ball themselves well enough to keep heat off of Russell Wilson and 3) don’t turn the ball over. If Seattle plays clean football and solid defense, they should be a position to win a close game. Or, you know, just like every other Seahawks win in 2019.
