The Seahawks could be on the verge of something great in 2020. Why? Here are three reasons 12s might be very happy next season.

The Seahawks have been a mostly successful franchise over the last 10 years. Maybe they have only won one Super Bowl but they went to back-to-back Super Bowls and you know how many teams can say that? Well, besides the Patriots no other team since the Seahawks in 2013 and 2014 have been to back-to-back Super Bowls since the 1998 and 1999 Denver Broncos.

Seattle, though, has been to the playoffs in eight of Pete Carroll’s 10 years in Seattle. That is really good. It is easy for 12s to get side-tracked with a feeling of underappreciation of just how much success the Seahawks have had under Carroll. Making the playoffs every year is not a given for nearly any NFL franchise, yet Seattle makes the postseason almost every season.

2020 should be another good year for the Seahawks. Sure, there are reasons for worry, but the roster is going to be good overall with just a few pieces needed to make the team great. Seattle plays in a tough division, though. The NFC West might be the best division in the NFL. But Seattle should also be good enough to win the division.

If the Seahawks make correct free agent decisions, hit on a few players in the draft and stay healthy, 2020 could be a potential Super Bowl year. How can I say this? Here are three big reasons for hope for the Seahawks next season.
