The Seahawks will be looking to fix issues on both the offensive and defensive lines in the 2020 NFL Draft. But Seattle always has some surprises too.

We are almost there, 12s. The Seahawks as of right now have 7 picks in the 2020 NFL Draft. One in the first round on day one (Thursday), three of day two (Friday) and three on day three (Saturday). The fun part, as always, is to see what Seattle general manager John Schneider and coach Pete Carroll do to get more picks and then what they do with those choices.

In 2019, Seattle took defensive end L.J. Collier. Collier was seen as more of a Michael Bennett-type where he could move around the line and help in both run and pass defense. But in his rookie season, Collier was not good at all. He was a healthy scratch several times and looks like he might be a bust. But Seattle has hopes he will be much better in 2020, of course.

The year before the Seahawks chose running back Rashaad Penny. Seattle didn’t need to take a running back first and this will kind of lead me into my first pick for 2020 in just a minute. But Seattle sometimes likes to choose the player they see as best available. In this year’s draft, Seattle needs to go edge rusher first. But this probably means they won’t.

This will be our last Seahawks mock draft before round one. To help choose this mock I used Fanspeak’s Mock Draft Simulator. So, without further ado, here is our final Seahawks 7-round mock draft.
