The Seahawks announced their 2020 schedule on Thursday. Or at least, the NFL did. What does it look like? Exactly like this.

The Seahawks 2020 schedule is up! And it even includes dates and times. Weird. With all the COVID-19 stuff going on, I am a bit surprised the NFL even guessed at dates. But they did. Maybe it was optimistically and maybe it was a matter of fact. But either way, we know which week the Seahawks will play which team and when.

Seattle will start on the road against the Falcons. Atlanta is a beatable team for the Seahawks, though starting on the road is not great. In 2018, Seattle played its first two games on the road and lost both of them. Hopefully, 2020 will be different and end up with Seattle having a deep run in the playoffs.

After that, Seattle will play three of its next four games at CenturyLink. These games will be against the Patriots, Cowboys and Vikings. In the third week of this run, Russell Wilson and Seattle will travel to the Dolphins to play a winnable game against Miami.

Then the Seahawks will play only two of its next six games at home. These games include an improving Cardinals teams, the Bills who made the playoffs in 2019, the Rams and the Eagles. That isn’t a great stretch. If the Bills take a step back from 2019, Arizona isn’t much better, the Rams are worse and the Eagles are just blah, then great. Otherwise, the Seahawks might have issues.

The final five games of the season see the Seahawks at home for three of five games. These games are against the two New York teams, the Giants and then the Jets and in the next to last game of 2020, Seattle plays the Rams.

But then the last game of the season finds the Seahawks playing the 49ers in…well, wherever San Francisco plays. That might be a tough last game and the game Seattle needs to win to make the playoffs. Whether Seattle gets there will come down to how many games Seattle can win at home in 2020.
