Detroit Lions: C Frank Ragnow

We all know the offensive line is not a strength of the Seahawks. Sure, it’s gotten better in recent years but it’s far from the stout shield that Wilson deserves. The Lions weren’t exactly loaded with stars, so targeting one of their top linemen seemed like the logical answer here.

Especially now that Justin Britt is gone, I felt an upgrade at center was necessary. As it so happens, the Lions have one of the league’s best and most underrated players at the position. Say hello to Frank Ragnow, the Seahawks’ (hypothetical) new starting center.

Surprisingly, Ragnow doesn’t get a lot of attention from folks outside of Detroit. However, if you asked a Lions fan, they wouldn’t hesitate to gush about Ragnow and how pivotal of a role he plays for their offensive line. Not only is he a sturdy anchor up front, but he’s a proven leader.

More importantly, he is one of the very best in the business when it comes to run blocking. And for a Seahawks offense that loves to move the ball on the ground, what more could they ask for then an elite road grader at center? Trust me when I say that Chris Carson and the rest of the Seattle running backs would love having him on the roster.

Grabbing an offensive lineman may not be the sexiest of moves, but it certainly helps the Seahawks’ Super Bowl aspirations in 2020.
