4. Eric Bieniemy

Just imagine Eric Bieniemy with Russell Wilson. What a sight it would be! Sorry back to reality, which is why Bieniemy is at 4 and not higher up on the list. The reality is It would take a surprise retirement or drastic change after the 2020 season for the Seahawks to get a chance at hiring Bieniemy.

Without a doubt, the 2021 offseason will finally be the year that he gets a starting job. Bieniemy himself has described his job search as “patient” which he said to Steve Wyche of NFL Media, but his job search has had some Rooney Rule controversy as many don’t understand how he is not a head coach yet. It would be an amazing offensive-minded and Russell Wilson-centric hire if it did happen but like the honorable mentions and DeWayne Walker, it is highly improbable.

If Carroll did step down, though, the Seahawks would very likely jump at the opportunity to interview and hire Bieniemy. Seattle’s future rests on the shoulders of Russell Wilson and a Wilson and Bieniemy pairing would be perfect.

If you would like a breakdown of why I love Bieniemy so much, here is a great YouTube breakdown from Get Hyped Gaming that goes through the Chiefs offense Super Bowl film.
