The Seahawks have a good team on paper for 2020. With a little bit of luck and a lot of health, Seattle could have a Super Bowl season this year.

The Seahawks had a weird year in 2019. They went 11-5 and if they had won their last game against the 49ers could have been the number one seed in the NFC. But Seattle outscored its 2019 regular opponents by a combined 7 points. Or a touchdown.

Seattle might should have never been in the position to be 11-5. But they started 10-2 and finished 1-3 so without some late-season injuries to Chris Carson and Rashaad Penny, maybe the team could have gone 3-1 or 2-2 and been the number one seed.

Here is the thing, 12s. The Seahawks have Russell Wilson and your friend’s favorite team doesn’t. Wilson might make a lesser roster better than the sum of its parts but this is what great players do. And Wilson is going to be the quarterback for Seattle for a lot more years.

There is a lot of reason for hope for Seattle in 2020 even in a tough NFC West. The Rams are getting worse. Arizona still has too many question marks. The 49ers are good but there is a recent history of Super Bowl loser hangover. Seattle can win their division this year and are talented enough to do so.

So I am here to let you know some reasons for hope for a great Seahawks season this year. And here are just three of those reasons.
