Who Starts?

In terms of the depth chart, the TE1 will be Will Dissly, but Greg Olsen will be much more than a TE2 and will feature in a lot of the Seahawks two tight end sets. With Dissly’s injury history, even if Olsen is the “TE2” for the Seahawks he will most likely end up starting some games if he can stay healthy.

Who’s Cut?

This is an interesting question as my answer involves more than just cuts. First, I see Jacob Hollister being traded and if the Seahawks can not find a good trade partner, he will be cut because of his aforementioned non-guaranteed contract. Hollister should have 5th-6th Round trade value and could end up on a team that needs a TE like Green Bay or his former team New England. Maybe the Bears are even looking for a tenth tight end, who knows.

This opens the door for Luke Willson and Dom Wood-Anderson to make the Week 1 roster as Colby Parkinson recovers from his surgery. When Parkinson is ready to go he will push Willson out the door, while Wood-Anderson will stay.

Next. Should Seahawks trade for Kenny Clark?. dark

Tyler Mabry will be cut before the season starts and maybe the Seahawks keep him around and sign him to their practice squad, but with four tight ends on the roster, Seattle will probably look for depth for other positions.
