Luckily for the Seattle Seahawks, they’re getting quite the bargain with the following five players, whose production will vastly exceed their income in 2020.

It’s an often-overlooked aspect of the NFL, but the salary cap and contracts play a big part in whether or not a team is competitive. The Seattle Seahawks are certainly no exception, especially considering that Russell Wilson accounts for about 15 percent of their annual cap space.

That’s why it’s always important to avoid bloated contracts and find value in young, inexpensive players. As it turns out, the Seahawks have done an excellent job in both regards.

Today, though, I want to focus primarily on the players who fit into the “value” category. These players may not be making a ton of money (certainly not the $31 million Wilson will count against the cap) in 2020, but they’re set to play significant roles in the Seahawks’ run at the Super Bowl. They aren’t all dirt cheap, but they will certainly outplay their contracts this upcoming season.

So just who are these outstanding players who deliver every Sunday yet somehow cost a fraction of the price of a normal top dog in the NFL? You probably know all of their names by now. They’re the guys who go out and get it done for the Seahawks every week, waiting patiently for their opportunity to cash in on their talent.

It won’t be this way forever, but these guys are bargains for the Seahawks heading into 2020.
