The Seahawks have won one Super Bowl and it happened in 2013. But who are five Seattle legends that should have won one and never did?

If you are young enough, you probably don’t remember a time when the Seahawks weren’t very good. Since 2001, Seattle has missed the playoffs just six times. They have made the playoffs 13 times. In three of those years, they have been to the Super Bowl. And they won a championship in the 2013 season.

Before 1999, however, Seattle, a team founded in 1976, made the playoffs just four times. They made only one conference championship game. This means a lot of great Seahawks never had a chance of winning the Super Bowl because they never advanced that far.

There are four players in the NFL Hall of Fame (currently, because we are about to have several in the near-future years) who played the majority of their careers with the Seahawks. Only one of the four, Walter Jones, ever played in a Super Bowl. Therefore, the other three, Kenny Easley, Cortez Kennedy and Steve Largent, did not. These three deserved better.

But there are many other players who were very good for Seattle in their careers who did great things on bad to mediocre teams. These players, like their Hall of Fame brethren, deserved better as well.

So who are five Seahawks that never got to play in the big game, but should have, and with a little help would have won the Super Bowl? Maybe the five that follow.
