2. Will Russell Wilson repeat his MVP Runner-Up season?

That’s the big assumption going into the 2020 season. Maybe Russ will never win an MVP, or get an MVP vote (still can not believe he has never received even just one MVP vote), but if he can put up a few more seasons like 2019 then Seattle is in a prime spot to make a run at a Super Bowl.

Last year Russ posted a QB Rating of 106.3, a 66% completion percentage, 4110 yards passing, 31 TD’s, 5 INT’s, 342 yards rushing, and 3 rushing TD’s. Russ has been the main reason that there has been a change in the last few years in Seattle from a defensive team to an offensive team.

So while we wait for the defense to rebuild and get up to a Super Bowl level, we can always assume that Wilson will be doing his part as one of the best QBs in the league.

So can Russ repeat his form from last season? I would certainly assume so like I have been saying. The offensive line can not get much worse than it was last year (PFF ranked sixth-worst o-line in 2019 and Wilson led the league in times sacked) and the skill players around Russ have remained the same if not better.
