Who starts?

The starters next year for the Seahawks will be, as expected, left tackle Duane Brown, left guard Mike Iupati, center BJ Finney, right guard Damien Lewis, and right tackle Brandon Shell. I also expect Cedric Ogbuehi to get downs with a similar role as George Fant had last season, coming on the field as an eligible receiver to be a sixth offensive lineman. So, listen next year for “Number 74 has reported as eligible.”

Who’s cut?

The long list of cuts to trim the offensive line down to ten is Jordan Simmons, Kahlil McKenzie Chad Wheeler, Kyle Fuller, and Chance Warmack. Jordan Roos and Tommy Champion also get cut but they will both be resigned to the practice squad. Simmons I will be sad to see go, but there are just simply too many guards on the roster right now and he will be able to find work elsewhere.

Chance Warmack will be a guy that will have to earn a spot on the roster in a big way because of his big non guaranteed contract that leaves him vulnerable to be cut so I imagine that he does not make the roster. This leaves the backups on the roster being Ethan Pocic, Joey Hunt, Phil Haynes, Jamarco Jones, and Cedric Ogbuehi.
