The Seattle Seahawks need a lot of defensive line help still in 2020. Here are three free agents who could help Seattle in 2020.

According to ESPN, the Seattle Seahawks defensive line for 2020 stinks. Maybe the line is even bad enough to keep Seattle from reaching its potential. And that potential could be the Super Bowl. (Of course, the offensive line might do that too, but still.) So Seattle still needs to add defensive linemen of quality to the roster.

The good thing is that the Seahawks have quite a bit of cap space still to work with. Possibly around $13 million or so. But cap space can be played with, so Seattle could make more room if they wanted. So, maybe they could sign two players, but that seems unlikely.

Should Seattle sign one defensive lineman still available as a free agent, that player needs to be really good. Seattle has added a lot of pieces as far as edge rush this offseason. One thing they have not done is to add quality along the interior of the defensive line. Poona Ford and Jarran might be decent, but they are going to need help.

Ideally, if Seattle was going to sign another free agent to help the defensive line, it would be a player who can help the run and the pass. But those players are few. Some players are pure pass rushers and some are pure run defenders.

Still, a few players remain on the market who can help Seattle’s defense this year. And here are three worth signing.
