The Seahawks play the Falcons in week one and we talk your ear off speaking about it.

The Seahawks begin a 2020 campaign where if all goes well they make the Super Bowl. Of course, Seattle could also miss the playoffs entirely due to issues surrounding both the offensive and defensive lines. Are the lines good enough to help Seattle will tons of games or bad enough to keep the Seahawks from their potential.

These two units are by far the biggest question marks surrounding an otherwise good team on paper.

Otherwise, the Seahawks still have quarterback Russell Wilson who seems to keep Seattle in nearly every game and makes the team greater than the sum of its parts. Seattle has a strong running game with Chris Carson and Carlos Hyde. And at receiver Seattle features Tyler Lockett, D.K. Metcalf and has good tight ends to help the wideouts.

Defensively, Seattle added All-Pro safety Jamal Adams this offseason plus cornerback Quinton Dunbar. The Seahawks still have excellent linebackers in Bobby Wagner and K.J. Wright and added to the group by drafting Jordyn Brooks. The back seven of Seattle’s defense is very good. Possibly good enough to get Seattle to the Super Bowl.

On our week one podcast, Kevin Daggett and 12th Man Rising expert Lee Vowell (me!) breakdown all the Seahawks offseason moves and moves that were not made. Was missing out on Jadeveon Clowney a really bad thing, for instance? Or will Josh Gordon make the receiving group closer to elite?
