The Seahawks enter week two a fairly healthy football team.

After a slight scare midweek as Jamal Adams was listed on the injury report with having an elbow injury, Seahawks fans can relax. Adams seems fine and will play on Sunday and make an impact. In fact, most other Seattle players will be able to play as well. The team has few injuries.

No Seattle player is officially listed as Out, but defensive end Rasheem Green, who led Seattle in sacks with 4 last year, is listed as Doubtful and is very unlikely to play. Green suffered a stinger in the Seahawks week one victory over the Falcons and has not practiced this week. Usually, when a player doesn’t practice, he doesn’t play in the game.

Seattle will probably also be without receiver Phillip Dorsett who didn’t play in week one either. Dorsett has a foot injury. He did practice some this week but didn’t on Friday so that is a sign that he is likely out against the Patriots. Dorsett played a few seasons with the Patriots before coming to the Seahawks this offseason and would probably have been highly motivated to do well against his former team.

The main thing is that Seattle will have all its key players in week two against the Patriots and their excellent defense. Russell Wilson will need to be very good again but will have all of his weapons at his disposal.

Patriots injuries

New England has it a bit worse than Seattle as far as injuries go but still are mostly healthy.

The only Patriot listed as Out is 2020 draftee Josh Uche. Uche didn’t play in New England’s first game either so he isn’t missed on the field. Receivers Julian Edelman and N’Keal Harry were limited some in practice this week but were the same last week and both still played in New England’s first game.

The thing that affects the Patriots roster the most is the players who opted-out this offseason due to COVID-19. This includes Dont’a Hightower and Patrick Chung. So even a fully healthy Patriots team in 2020 were still be some important players down.
