Player 3: Terrell Suggs

Terrell Suggs is another ageless wonder. You have likely noticed a trend here. Older veterans who have reverted to purely pass rushers. Don’t worry, ill break that trend in the next two slides. For now, let’s focus on Suggs.

Suggs played virtually his entire career with the Baltimore Ravens. However, the team split after the 2018 season. Since then he has bounced between the Chiefs and Cardinals. He has recently said he is not ready yet to think about retirement. So, we know despite winning a Super Bowl in KC, he is still searching for an opportunity to add to his trophy collection.

Suggs accumulated 5.5 sacks last year with the Cardinals. Unfortunately, his pressure rate took a dip down to 9.1%. It still would have still been second-highest on the Seahawks team behind Clowney. However, that is not really saying much.

Given the speed and the playcalling, I think Suggs could actually have a very productive stop with the Seahawks. There would be more creative defensive playcalling than his previous NFC West pit stop. This would also offer Suggs one final chance at getting the Super Bowl trophy on the way out if he decided to call it quits.

Suggested contract: Veteran minimum with incentives to push to $1.5 million
