Here are three bold predictions of what will happen when the Seahawks play the Cowboys in week three.

The Seattle Seahawks have started off extremely well offensively in 2020 and are second in points through two weeks. But the defense is a different story. Seattle is 20th in points allowed and last in yards given up. That isn’t sustainable for future success. Something has to give.

And week three’s game versus the Cowboys might be a good indication of how the rest of the rest, or at least the next several games, will go. Dallas is very good offensively and could create major issues for a Seattle team that puts little pressure on opposing quarterbacks. Maybe Seattle’s secondary has talent but if an opposing quarterback has lots of time to throw even pedestrian receivers can find room to get open.

Of course, the same can be said about Dallas and they may be in even worse shape. They have a couple of guys on their defensive front who have had histories of being good pass rushers, like Demarcus Lawrence and Everson Griffen. But so far this year they haven’t supplied much pressure on opposing quarterbacks.

Plus, the Dallas secondary is really banged up right now and it would seem as if Russell Wilson and D.K. Metcalf and company could have huge days against a weakened group. There is no real reason they shouldn’t.

So what will happen on Sunday in week three of the 2020 season? Here are three bold predictions on what will.
