Both quarterbacks will throw for over 400 yards

Neither team has had a very successful pass rush in 2020 so far. Cowboys fans are probably a bit more puzzled by this than Seahawks fans. Dallas actually addressed its concern there by signing Everson Griffen. Seattle signed a couple of former players and drafted two players who have yet to play. Dallas tried to do more.

Seattle, nearly surprisingly, has one more sack than does Dallas so far through two games – Seattle has three and the Cowboys two. But two of Seattle’s sacks are from safety Jamal Adams. And now Seattle has lost Bruce Irvin for the season so an already underperforming group has less talent starting in week three.

The Cowboys will be without two starting cornerbacks. Seattle at least is healthy in the secondary.

That said, Russell Wilson is going to cook up a whole lot of yards on Sunday and likely so will Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott. Seattle hasn’t shown it can keep a passer under 397 yards in a game so far this year so why would Prescott be any different.

The difference in the game might come down to which quarterback is better at throwing in the red zone and who picks up more yards between the 20s. Hopefully, it’s Wilson, of course. But both quarterback will have big days.
