Player 1: Tramon Williams

The Packers have been stout with defensive talent over the last couple of years. So much so, that they let stud cornerback Tramon Williams hit the free-agent market.

Williams is not a young and agile player anymore. However, he is about as savvy as they come. Over the last 3 years, his PFF grade comes out to a solid 73.3. He has allowed a completion on just 57% of passes thrown his way. During this same 3 year span, he also has 4 picks. That’s playmaking the Seahawks could use.

He is one of those under the radar players you don’t really hear about. However, players that know him best respect his game. He is solid across the board. He can play the run or the pass. He is a true master of his craft.

Williams could be the missing piece from the secondary. Add a veteran who understands defenses to help amplify communication amongst the defensive backs. After all, a couple of players after Seattle’s week three win said their poor communication in the secondary was a big part of the reason for the passing yards allowed.

I am sure Williams would be all in to try and get one more chance at the Super Bowl trophy before he calls it a career. This could be one of those sneaky good signings that make everything else click for the secondary.
