Russell Wilson had his worse game of the season… and still played great

In the victory over the Dolphins, Russell Wilson showed us that he is a human being. For starters, he threw an interception that was actually his fault. He was slightly late on the throw and didn’t get enough muster underneath it when looking for DK Metcalf in the end zone. Outside of that, he played great. I know Wilson has set a high standard this year by throwing 14 touchdowns in the first three games, but going 24 for 34 for 360 yards and 2 touchdowns is a very good game.

Wilson once again displayed his great arm strength by hitting David Moore near the sideline before the half. Rolling out, Wilson threw a 50-yard dart to David Moore, which set them up for a touchdown right before the half. I thought it was Wilson’s most impressive throw of the game.

With the two touchdowns thrown in yesterday’s game, Wilsons’ total tally on the year is now 16. He tied Peyton Manning for most touchdowns in the first four weeks of the regular season.

The most impressive drive of the game came in the fourth quarter with the Seahawks winning, 17-15. After the Dolphins kicked a field goal to cut the lead to just 2, Russell Wilson lost communication with offensive coordinator, Brian Schottenheimer. As a result, Wilson called the plays himself and led a 6 play, 75 drive down the field, capping it off with a touchdown pass to David Moore to go up 9.

This happened last year on the road in Cleveland in a similar situation. Although in that game, it was the third quarter. But, the end result was the same.
