Here are three bold predictions in what will happen when the Seahawks play the Vikings in week five.

The Seahawks are 4-0 and off to a great start offensively. Defensively, they played a bit better in week four. Minnesota is 1-3 but better than their record indicates as they started with a tough stretch of games. And make no mistake, if Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins plays well, Minnesota is going to score a lot of points on Sunday.

This should be a high-scoring contest where once again Seattle gets an early lead and the opposing team makes a bit of a comeback. Who will win week five? That is part of our bold predictions, starting with bold prediction number one.

Russell Wilson throws for three touchdowns and Chris Carson scores two

Wilson throwing for three touchdowns almost seems like a let-down at this point, right? In three of the Seahawks four games this season, Wilson has 4 or more touchdown passes. Against the Dolphins in week four, though, Wilson had just two. Why? Because Chris Carson was running well and ran for two himself.

Carson will face a Vikings defensive line that has given up an average of 134.8 yards per game, 24th in the league. He will get a touchdown running the ball. But he will also get one on a Wilson screen pass when the Vikings defense is concentrating on stopping D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett.

Don’t fret too much for Metcalf and Lockett, though. They will catch the other two Wilson touchdown passes in week five.
