Defense line

B+. . . Seattle Seahawks. DEFENSIVE LINE

Believe it or not, I was very pleased with this defensive front last night. I know the Vikings nearly doubled the Seahawks in both time of possession and total number of offensive plays, but this defensive front was able to apply some pressure on Kirk Cousins.

I know Dalvin Cook looked like he was going to have a field day and heck, even his back up, Alexander Mattison, rushed for over 100 yards. But, this Seahawks front 4 made plays last night. In a time of need where we were dependent upon our defense getting a stop, they showed up.

In the second half, on the Vikings first offensive possession, they were forced to a 3 and out. In their second offensive possession, Damontre Moore forced a fumble that set up the Will Dissly touchdown. The Seahawks racked up 3 sacks and a had total of 4 quarterback hits. Their pressure on Cousins was forcing him into a lot of miss throws and helped the offense get back on the field.

Most importantly, the defensive line made a stop on a crucial 4th down late in the game. I will say this, Jarran Reed balled out last night and I am excited to see him and Snacks Harrison together after the bye week.
