Here are three guesses at what happens when the Seahawks play the Cardinals in week 7.

The Seahawks are off to the best start in franchise history but the Cardinals are a much-improved team in 2020. Week 7 when Seattle travels to play Arizona should be another close game for Seattle. This means 12s will be up late and lose sleep. In other words, the normal life of being a Seahawks fan.

So what will happen with a Russell Wilson-led Seattle team plays a Kyler Murray-led Cardinals team? Here are three bold predictions starting with prediction number three.

Kyler Murray out-passes Russell Wilson

Kyler Murray hasn’t been a perfect passer this year. He does create chaos and leads his team to points but a lot of what works for the Cardinals offense is Murray’s ability to make sense out of the nonsense. Sound familiar? Like a young Russell Wilson.

This week, though, Murray has it a bit easier throwing the ball. If there was ever a game when Seattle is going to sit back and not try to chase the quarterback down (which they struggle with anyway), it is week 7 against the Cardinals. Murray is going to pass for more yards than Wilson because Seattle will allow him to. Plus, to be fair, Arizona’s secondary is better than the current one (no Jamal Adams!) that the Seahawks have.

Wilson will end up with a touchdown more throwing, though, and that is really what matters. Murray will have 385 yards passing and Wilson just 280 but Wilson’s passer rating will be better.
