I was also wrong on a bit

Where I Was Wrong

Unfortunately, I missed on a lot of things. Here is where I went wrong.

  • Josh Gordon is still awaiting reinstatement from the NFL.
  • The Seahawks have not made any announcements regarding fans in attendance.
  • Russell Wilson only has 22 touchdown passes (I had predicted 27).
  • Alton Robinson reeled in 0 sacks in the month of October (I had predicted 5).

What I Missed

Heading into the month of October, I also overlooked a couple of things.

The Seahawks needed pass rush help and I did not predict a trade. Earlier today, it was announced that the Seahawks traded with the Bengals for Pro Bowl DE Carlos Dunlap. The Seahawks desperately needed a playmaker on the defensive line and I think we got our man.

I would have never in my wildest dreams think Wilson would go back-to-back-to-back games with throwing an interception. Wilson is typically very good with the football and doesn’t make unforced errors. Although he has been great on the season, it was shocking to see him making that many mistakes.

Lastly, this wasn’t really something that I had missed. Rather, just need to further emphasis. DK Metcalf is a superstar. When he is not scoring touchdowns with multiple reception games, he is making plays in other ways. That chase down the other night on Budda Baker was not human-like. I love the effort and mentality that this young man displays week after week. The Seahawks got a steal in DK. He truly will be something special in this league.
