Seahawks versus Bills: Preview and how to watch, stream and listen
By Lee Vowell
Here is what should happen when the Seahawks play the Bills and how to watch, listen and stream the game.
A lot has changed since the last time the Seahawks played the Bills in 2016. Seattle won that game 31-25 but the best receiver Seattle had that day was tight end Jimmy Graham who had 8 catches for 103 yards and 2 touchdowns. Tyler Lockett actually led Seattle in rushing that day with 13 yards on a jet sweep. Seriously. Seattle ran for a total of 33 yards.
Buffalo statistically dominated the game with 425 total yards to Seattle’s 278 and the Bills held the ball for 40:17 to Seattle’s 19:43. There were a total of 21 penalties. It was an ugly game. But Seattle won so that’s all that matters.
I bring all that up because in week 9, the game might end up looking a bit like that 2016 game. Seattle doesn’t win games in truly ugly ways as much as they used to, but they have still been outgained in total yards five times. But Seattle wins turnover battles and this is important.
Josh Allen is a good quarterback for the Bills but in the last four games he has thrown for 4 touchdowns and been picked off 4 times. If Seattle gets an early lead then Buffalo might throw more and throwing more means the possibility of an interception or two.
I think Seattle does get the early lead and the Bills come back in the fourth quarter. But along the way, Seattle gets a couple of interceptions and holds on to win 34-28.
