Right side of the offensive line

When the Seahawks have the ball, the offensive line is going to have to step up and perform to the best of their abilities to protect Russell Wilson. This especially goes to the right side of the line in Brandon Shell and Damien Lewis who will have to take on the best edge rusher in the game in Aaron Donald.

As the Rams form their defense in 3-4 format, both Shell and Lewis will be taking on the 280-pound Donald. While Shell (324 pounds) and Lewis (327 pounds) are both significantly heavier than Donald, the Rams defensive end tends to be able to get by opposing linemen anyways, sometimes even with relative ease.

Shell and Lewis will both have to find ways to prevent Donald from getting by them and reaching Wilson as if he does, havoc and chaos ensue as he will easily sack the quarterback.

So far this season, Shell has allowed three sacks while Lewis has allowed only one but they have yet to face a defensive lineman as dynamic and good as Donald. This will be their first real challenge of the season to protect their star quarterback.

Donald is the league leader in sacks with nine and also has gotten seven tackles for loss with 15 quarterback hits. Keep an eye on how Shell and Lewis take on Donald. If they struggle to contain him early on, they may have to add Ethan Pocic to the fold to have three guys take on Donald.
