The Seattle Seahawks travel to Los Angeles to play the Rams in week 10.

The Seahawks currently sit in first place in the NFC West with a lead of a game over the Arizona Cardinals and Los Angeles Rams. With a win over the Rams and a Cardinals loss to the Bills (both very possible), Seattle could move up to a two-game lead in the division. With a loss, Seattle would fall to third place as both the Rams and Cardinals would have tie-break wins over Seattle.

So what will happen when Seattle plays Los Angeles in week 10? Here are three predictions starting with number one.

Jared Goff throws for 450 yards

Rams coach Sean McVay isn’t stupid. In fact, he’s one of the best offensive-minded coaches in the NFL. He saw what Buffalo did to the Seahawks in week 9 and McVay must be wiping the drool from his mouth still. Jared Goff isn’t a great quarterback on his own, but as a drone of McVay’s he can be very good.

So far in 2020, Goff has thrown nowhere near 450 yards. But he hasn’t faced a secondary as porous as Seattle’s and now Seattle will be without its top two cornerbacks. Shaquill Griffin and Quinton Dunbar are out in week 10.

Goff will likely throw somewhere around 38-40 passes and hit on nearly 70 percent of them. These won’t be deep down the field passes. They will be over the middle completions, easy throws, to pick up first downs, eat clock and drive his team down field.

The Rams like to run the ball, but why do that as much in week 10 when McVay knows that throwing against the Seahawks is easy pickings?
