Seahawks offensive and defensive grades from MNF win week 12
By Jake Luppino
Seahawks move back to first place in the West with a win over the Eagles.
The month of November wasn’t all too kind to the Seattle Seahawks, as they dealt with multiple injuries and suffered two poor losses. But, just as things were going bad, Seattle turned it around and finished the month in first place. Of course, they received help from the 49ers beating the Rams and Patriots beating the Cardinals, but most importantly, Seattle handled their own business beating the Eagles on Monday Night Football.
For the second straight week, the Seahawks played a complete game. Chris Carson, Ethan Pocic and Shaquill Griffin all returned last night and had an impact on this game. Seattle has been focusing on finding a balanced attack on offense after Wilson’s two-game skid. It is safe to assume that the Seahawks are back on track and will only project to get better as the season nears a finish.
For whatever reason it may be, when the Seahawks and Eagles face off in Philadelphia, Seattle seems to always hold them to 9 points. Last year, Seattle took two trips to Philadelphia. One being a regular-season game and the other being a Wild Card Round matchup. In both of those games, the Seahawks won 17-9.
In Week 12, Seattle was winning 17-9 at one point, but the game finished with a final score of 23-17. The Eagles converted on a hail marry late in the game that cut the lead a tad bit closer. Regardless, the Seahawks got the win and that’s all that matters.
The Seahawks are now 8-3 entering the home stretch. With that said, it is time for the weekly grade report.
