Seahawks picked up win number eight on the year defeating the Eagles in Week 12.

Coming into their Monday Night matchup, the Seattle Seahawks knew a win would put them back in first place in the NFC West. Over the weekend, Seattle received help from both the Patriots and 49ers in their defeats over the Rams and Cardinals. Just three weeks ago, the Seattle Seahawks fell to 3rd place in the West. Many analysts were caught up in the moment and subsequently, wanted to sell their stock on the Seahawks.

Seattle wasn’t given the benefit of the doubt as they were dealing with numerous injuries to key players. Granted, a loss is a loss but the NFL season is a marathon, not a race. Fast forward to the present time and now, those same analysts are buying stock again. Over the last two weeks, Seattle has looked like a Super Bowl team, albeit in week 12 though were playing a foe that isn’t very good.

They are playing well on both sides and have a golden opportunity of finishing the season strong with a favorable remaining schedule. The Seahawks could use these next couple of weeks to develop more chemistry and get better on the defensive side of the ball right before the start of the playoffs.

This Seattle defensive unit once again shined bright under the lights as they were able to propel this team to another victory. Here are 5 takeaways from the win on Monday Night Football.
