Seattle Seahawks vs New York Giants: Players to watch for
By Reuben Gasee
The Seahawks face a NFC East team for the second straight week
Last week, the Seattle Seahawks got the win by beating the Philadelphia Eagles 23-17. While they could have beaten the Eagles by a wider margin, a win is a win and it counts towards the Seahawks record as they battle for first in their division.
Currently, the Seahawks are first in the NFC West with an 8-3 record but the other teams aren’t far behind. The Los Angeles Rams are just a win and a Seahawks loss away from potentially taking first place in the division and the Arizona Cardinals at 6-5 are right there too.
While being decimated by injuries all season long, the San Francisco 49ers at 5-6 can’t be counted out either as they can get themselves on a winning streak to get back up in the division standings.
Luckily for the Seahawks, they take on the New York Giants who are one of the weaker teams across the league. Despite not being a strong team, the Giants currently hold the first seed in their division of the NFC East which is viewed as the worst division in football.
This will be a big game for the Giants as they currently hold the same record of 4-7 with the Washington Football Team and the Eagles (3-7-1) and the Dallas Cowboys (3-8) aren’t far behind from taking the division despite all teams having losing records.
Another advantage for the Seahawks is that they are playing on home turf which they have yet to lose a game when playing in Seattle. Here is who to watch for in this week’s matchup.
