Crowder caught a pass but fumbled the ball which was recovered by Shaquill Griffin. That fumble was able to get the Seahawks a 38-yard field goal.
Lockett caught another 20+ yard pass of 23 yards. That paved the way for Jason Myers to successfully kick a 23-yard field goal.
The Jets responded with a field goal of their own of 20 yards.
Lockett made another big play as he caught a pass from Wilson of 32 yards. That wasn’t it though on this drive as he made another catch of 29 yards to get the Seahawks within four yards of the end zone. On third down, Wilson got sacked for a loss of nine yards which gave Myers and the Seahawks another field goal opportunity of 30 yards which he completed.
Jarran Reed was able to get to Darnold and sack him for a loss of eight yards.
With 25 seconds left in the quarter, the Jets attempted deep passes but to no avail. In fact, on the final play of the quarter, Darnold’s pass was intercepted.
