The Seahawks take on a New York team for the second straight week

The Los Angeles Rams beat the New England Patriots Thursday night in a crushing 24-3 defeat which isn’t good news for the Seattle Seahawks as the Rams have now taken the first seed in the NFC West division.

Luckily for the Seahawks, they’re taking on the New York Jets who have yet to win a game. What’s even better is the fact that the Seahawks are hosting the Jets at home where they’re 5-1 at their own stadium in the newly called Lumen Field.

Despite the Jets being winless at 0-12, the Seahawks can’t walk into this game like they know they’re going to win and take it for granted. In last week’s matchup, the Seahawks faced the Jets crosstown rival in the New York Giants where they lost despite many expecting it to go the other way. Even worse, the Seahawks lost at home which was their first defeat in their own stadium.

Here are the players to watch for in this week’s Seahawks/Jets matchup.

Jamal Adams

Jamal Adams will be facing his former team for the first time since he got traded. He mentioned that while a member of the Jets, he was depressed and didn’t enjoy playing football as they weren’t trying to win games.

Adams will look to have a huge game against his former team to show them what they’re missing out in him. A big game against his former team would look really good for Adams.
