2015: Off of back-to-back 11-5 seasons, Seattle looks for more weapons for Teddy Bridgewater and they trade for Jimmy Graham

Now that they actually look like they are real Super Bowl competitors, Seattle makes a big trade and acquires Jimmy Graham from the Saints. With this big trade, the best defense in the NFL, and Bridgewater heading into his second season the Seahawks are the talk of the offseason.

While the Seahawks lost Max Unger in the trade to the Saints, their offensive line performs well (compared to in actuality) with Brandon Brooks, Justin Britt, and Okung. Teddy has a Pro Bowl second season and the Seahawks go 10-6 (just as they actually did in 2015).

Seattle gets their revenge and defeats the Packers in the Wild Card round (the Packers win the NFC north in 2015 instead of the Vikings since the Vikings do not have Teddy). However, on the road against the eventual Super Bowl runners up the Carolina Panthers, Seattle goes home and yet again fails to make the Super Bowl for the second time in franchise history.

Things are looking up in Seattle as the Seahawks have their franchise QB, a good offensive line, a great defense, and cap space (since they do not have to pay Russell Wilson’s contract). However, it all goes south once again in the offseason.
