Bold Predictions

Thus far in the year, I’ve struggled with bold predictions. I had subpar months of October and November. It appears as if I’ve struggled once again in December. Approaching December, I was a combined 4 for14 in my bold predictions. Now that the month has gone by, that total is now 6 for 21.

What’s most important, is that this Seattle Seahawk team continues to find ways to win. With only one game remaining on the schedule, there really is not much to left to predict. Although we know the Seahawks are heading to the playoffs, we do not know who they will be facing, since all the spots have not yet been clinched. That, coupled with the fact that the Seahawks, along with the Saints still have a chance at getting the number one seed in the NFC.

But, I can make predictions about their Week 17 matchup and how far I think they will go in the playoffs. So, one last final time, let’s give this a shot.

  • The Seahawks will defeat the 49ers and finish as the #3 seed in the NFC.
  • QB Russell Wilson will throw for 3 TDs in the Week 17 matchup.
  • Of those 3 TD’s, Jacob Hollister, D.K. Metcalf and David Moore will be the recipients.
  • The red hot Seattle defense will hold the 49ers to under 17 points.
  • Jamal Adams will record a sack.

In terms of the playoffs, I predict the Seahawks will either play the Cardinals or Rams in the Wild Card round. Regardless of who they face, I think they have a good shot of winning and making a deep playoff run. I am hopeful, along with the rest of the 12s, that this team ends up in Tampa Bay to bring home their second-ever Vince Lombardi trophy.

I’ve been nearly spot-on in my game predictions for each month. Heading into December, my record was 8-3. I’m walking out of December with the same exact record as the Seahawks.
