Once again, the Seahawks special teams were the bright spot of this team. P Michael Dickson has done a great job all season long. He had a very busy day in the Wild Card round as he punted the ball 8 times. He was able to pin the Rams inside their own 20 two different times. Dickson had a fantastic season and helped the Seahawks win the field possession battle in this game.

K Jason Meyers had another brilliant game. He has been special all year long. He drilled in two field goals, both over 50 yards in the Wild Card defeat. Heading into the playoffs, all teams want a reliable kicker as they could be the deciding factor in a game. Although the Seahawks season is over, they were confident in their kicker, and rightfully so.

DJ Reed had a nice game. He was able to provide a spark in the 2nd half with a big kickoff return that resulted in 3 points. When he took over return responsibilities, he showed flashes of potential. But he had a costly fumble on a punt return when he picked up a bouncing punt and tried to run instead of simply falling on the ball.
