Receivers

A+. Both D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett broke franchise records. . Seattle Seahawks. WIDE RECEIVERS / TIGHT ENDS

Russell Wilson was given his best wide receiving core in his career and it paid off as these guys had a big year. First off, if TE Greg Olsen decides to retire, it was awesome to see him join this franchise and be a leader in the locker room. Olsen has had a great career and contributed greatly to this Seahawks team.

WR David Moore had a career year. Moore will be entering free agency and may or may not return to this Seattle team. Moore was a deep threat who was also used as a weapon in the backfield as a runner. He finished the season with 35 receptions for 417 yards and 6 touchdowns.

Second-year wideout D.K. Metcalf had a monster year. He hasn’t even touched the surface in this league and he has already broken a franchise record for this organization. D.K. finished the season with 83 receptions for 1,303 yards (broke Steven Largent’s record for most receiving yards in franchise history) and 10 touchdowns. Despite the third highest drop rate in the league, Metcalf improved in his second year. He contributed as a run blocker and showed off his dazzling speed in running with the ball after a catch.

Tyler Lockett — who gets better and better each season — also had a very impressive season. He finished with 100 receptions (franchise record) for 1,054 yards and 10 touchdowns. Both Lockett and Metcalf posted monstrous numbers and that’s even with the offense falling off a little bit in the second half. Imagine if it didn’t.

What To Expect: Seahawks bring back Philip Dorsett and David Moore
