To make 2021 better than 2020, the Seahawks should sign these five free agents.

The Seahawks lost to the Los Angeles Rams in the Wild Card game of the 2020 playoffs last Saturday 30-20 and this, of course, ended Seattle’s season. Seattle has also seen other things end in Seattle since then, like the end of offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer’s time with the Seahawks. Schottenheimer was fired this week.

Every NFL teams will go through some kind of attrition from one season to the next. How much attrition with coaches and players for Seattle remains to be seen, but the fact that this offseason started with the firing of such an important part of the coaching staff might signal the Seahawks are looking to make a lot of changes in the next few months.

Seattle also announced that general manager John Schneider had been extended through the 2027 draft. Part of this deal might mean that Schneider wants more control over the team. If this is so, this might also signal that Seattle might spend a bit more trying to acquire free agent top-end talent, like Washington left guard Brandon Scherff or New England Patriots left guard Joe Thuney. While this may be unlikely, it could also happen.

I think that Seattle basically sticks to their normal formula of not overpaying, or what they think is overpaying, for any one or two free agents. Therefore, I will now give you five players that are worth signing and bringing to Seattle.
