Seattle currently only has four picks in the 2021 NFL draft. This will likely change, of course, with trades. Seahawks general manager John Schneider is always a busy guy during the draft. Likely Seattle will somehow end up with seven picks or so.

In the mock drafts we do closer to draft time we will mix in potential trade scenarios as well, but at this point, free agency hasn’t yet started so teams don’t have an exact idea of what they need for 2021 and beyond after they attract, or fail to do so, whatever free agents they hope to sign. Besides, maybe there is a chance that Seattle actually ends up with just those four picks – one in the second round, one in the fourth, one in the fifth and one in the seventh.

In 12th Man Rising’s first mock draft for the Seahawks 2021 draft, I will go through who Seattle should take with the four picks they currently have. Seattle has several needs and not great draft position to fill those needs. But in an odd way, Seattle might still get good and productive players at positions they need even if they don’t make any trades during the draft.

Seahawks draft needs

This is because the Seahawks don’t need a quarterback or a number one receiver or a left tackle. But Seattle does need a running back and players that will improve their offensive line and depth in the secondary.

So who could Seattle choose in the 2021 draft? Here is my first guess.
