Rounds 6 and 7

With potentially their final pick of the 2021 draft the Seahawks should take a Line Backer. That pick should be used on Errol Thompson from Mississippi State.

Thompson is a great fit for the Seahawks linebacking scheme, similar to Anderson he is a powerhouse, and was a leading presence for the Bulldogs.

Often seen as the captain of the defense, relaying calls and showing leadership qualities on and off the field.

Thompson is not the flashiest of linebackers but is a fine tackler, he is so deep in the draft due to that lack of flashiness. But I believe he will be a valuable addition to the Seahawks Line Backers corps and represents great value in the sixth round.

Round 7

If the Seahawks do get their seventh-round pick, they should select WR Warren Jackson from Colorado State. Jackson is not the quickest and does not easily separate from defenders, but he is a solid route runner and has a particular asset that is invaluable.

That is that he is 6′ 6″ and is a real red-zone threat, getting such a threat in the 7th round would be really useful to Russell Wilson and the Seahawks. Think of the former saint, Marques Colston, and you are on the right lines when looking for an NFL comparative player.

This is particularly the case with the likelihood of a reduced red zone threat from the TE position in 2021.

Next. 5 edge rushers the Seahawks could sign to replace Carlos Dunlap. dark

All five of these players could make an impact in 2021 and could be even better in future seasons, by picking these four or five, the Seahawks will get maximum value from their limited amount of picks.
