The Seattle Seahawks stuck to their typical M.O. with staying quiet on day one of free agency. They grabbed a couple of buy low guys on day 2. Historically, day 3-5 is where the Seahawks build their roster.

Fortunately for them, the free agency pool is still very deep. Sure, many of the crème of the crop players are gone. Don’t be fooled with the overall talent remaining. This free agency is forcing a squeeze at many of the mid to lower-tiered players.

Contracts were going to be down this year somewhere. It is quite clear after the first two days of free agency that the high-end players got paid like any other season. That leaves all the cost savings the teams need to fall on the rest of the pool.

The Seahawks have been quiet so far in free agency. Well, that is about to change.

Positions like the interior offensive line, running backs, wide receivers, and veteran defensive ends have had a luke-warm market at best thus far. There is just so much talent in the draft here and the market in free agency is so saturated that it doesn’t make sense for most teams to go big.

This is where the Seattle Seahawks need to strike gold. I have one player from each of these groupings that the team needs to snag on Wednesday before another team scoops them up. Players that either have familiarity, offer a new dimension or high upside are all targets in this article.
