The Seahawks have made a few truly exciting moves. I love the pick-up of receiving tight end Gerald Everett. A true after-the-catch threat and an athletic freak.

They traded for a top-tier guard in Gabe Jackson. I am fairly certain that his contract was re-worked as well before the trade was finalized. Gabe Jackson and Damien Lewis are more or less the same players.

They re-signed Chris Carson to a 2-year, team-friendly contract. They brought in an incredibly gifted but inconsistent cornerback in Ahkello Witherspoon. If Seattle can help with the consistency, he has the talent to be one of the best.

The Seahawks have a solid start to rebuilding the roster but they are not yet done.

I am pumped the Seahawks re-signed Poona Ford to an extension as opposed to simply placing a tender on him. I have written about this several times over the last few months. This was huge.

If Poona keeps improving at this pace, he could be a $20 million a year player within a couple of years. an extension next year would have been at least doubled the yearly cost.

The team re-signed All-Pro special teams ace Nick Bellore to a two-year contract. Finally, Seattle brought back several of their depth players in Kyle Fuller, Bryan Mone, and Ryan Neal.

However, they are not yet done. They have several position groupings that still need to be addressed. The defensive line is devoid of its true game wreaker in Carlos Dunlap. The receiving group has almost no depth. David Moore signed with the Panthers.

The offensive line needs additional depth. The tackle position specifically needs some kind of upside. Finally, veteran leadership is something that can’t be overstated.

Over the next 4 slides I am going to go through 4 players I believe the Seahawks will be all in on over the next week of free agency.
