Picks 49 through 64

Pick 49 – Javonte Williams – RB – North Carolina – Arizona

With Kenyan Drake moving on, Chase Edmonds needs some support at RB.

Pick 50 – Jevon Holland – S – Oregon – Miami

Again building on the Dolphins strong defense, Holland will be an upgrade at Free Safety.

Pick 51 – Teven Jenkins – OT – Oklahoma State – Washington

Every magician needs a supporting act, even bearded ones like Fitzmagic.

Pick 52 – Terrace Marshall Jr – WR – LSU – Chicago

Allen Robinson won’t be in Chi-town forever, Marshall is potentially his long-term replacement.

Pick 53 – Tutu Atwell – WR – Louisville – Tennessee

Atwell is not Corey Davis but he is a potentially decent replacement for him.

Pick 54 – Joseph Ossai – LB – Texas- Indianapolis

The excellent Colts defense has lost pass rushers to free agency, Ossai fills some of that void.

Pick 55 – Trey Hill – C – Georgia – Pittsburgh

Maurice Pouncey is a tough act to follow, Hill is the man for the job of being the primary protection for the most statuesque QB in the league.

Pick 56 – Marquez Stevenson – WR – Houston – Seattle

The wait till pick 56 is worth it Seahawks fans. Stevenson is lightning quick, plays as a slot receiver primarily, so alongside Metcalf and Lockett out wide gives Russell Wilson a trio of quality receivers. Added to that Stevenson is a great kick returner, so Lockett can rest on the sidelines whilst the youngster takes over that role.

Pick 57 – Joe Tryon – DE – Washington – LA Rams

Having added Leonard Floyd to the potent pass-rushing of Aaron Donald, the Rams get another quality pass rusher in the draft. Better get that O-line sorted, Coach Carroll.

Pick 58 – Rondale Moore – WR – Purdue – Baltimore

The Ravens need better receivers for Lamar Jackson to target, Moore is a unique talent that could be the perfect foil for Jackson. He is also a threat on special teams.

Pick 59 – Tylan Wallace – WR – Tulane – Cleveland

The fifth WR in 8 picks, Wallace adds another weapon to Baker Mayfield’s arsenal and with Beckham and Landry having plenty of miles on the clock, the Browns need to find young talent at WR.

Pick 60 – Chaz Surratt – LB – North Carolina – New Orleans

Post-Brees, the Saints D will need to be better than in previous seasons. LB is a potential weakness they, therefore, need to strengthen.

Pick 61 – James Hudson – OT – Cincinnati – Buffalo

The Bills lack depth at OT, Hudson needs to develop his game in order to be a starter but has enormous potential for the long term.

Pick 62 – Jabril Cox – LB – LSU – Green Bay

One of the few weaknesses the Packers have is at linebacker. Cox helps solve that problem.

Pick 63 – Landon Dickerson – C – Alabama – Kansas City

Dickerson would go higher but for the injuries he suffered in his college career.

If he can stay healthy the Chiefs rebuild of their O line will have the most talented Center in the draft at the heart of it.

Pick 64 – Kyle Trask – QB – Florida – Tampa Bay

GOATs don’t live forever, getting Trask in now to learn from the master is a smart move for the talent-loaded defending champs.
