NFL mock draft: Full rounds four through seven with several Seahawks picks
By Andy Excell
Round 6
Pick 185 – Brandin Echols – CB – Kentucky – LA Chargers
Pick 186 – Trae Barry – TE – Jacksonville State – NY Jets
Pick 187 – Michael Menet – C – Penn State – Atlanta
Pick 188 – Tyler Shelvin – NT – LSU – New England
Pick 189 – Kary Vincent JR – CB – LSU – Philadelphia
Pick 190 – Jonathan Cooper – DE – Ohio State – Cincinnati
Pick 191 – Zion Johnson – G – Boston College – Denver
Pick 192 – Khyiris Tonga – DT – BYU – Dallas
Pick 193 – David Mills – QB – Stanford – Carolina
Mills has a lot of potential but a lack of experience, hence why he is in round 6. Given time to learn and develop his game, he could a starting QB in the NFL in the longer term.
Pick 194 – Tarron Jackson – DE – Coastal Carolina – San Francisco
Pick 195 – Tommy Kraemer – G – Notre Dame – Houston
If you can get a ready-made NFL starter in round 6, well done. Kraemer is capable of that and maybe more in the longer term.
Pick 196 – Errol Thompson – LB – Mississippi State – NY Giants
Another one I like, a real hard-nosed type of football player, still needs to refine his game, but the potential is there.
Pick 197 – Ihmir Smith-Marsette – WR – Iowa – New England
Pick 198 – Derek Kerstetter – G – Texas – LA Chargers
Pick 199 – Mark Webb – S – Georgia – Minnesota
Pick 200 – Mustafa Johnson – DT – Colorado – Las Vegas
Pick 201 – Joe Sculthorpe – C – NC State – NY Giants
Pick 202 – Tristen Hoge – G -BYU – Cincinnati
Pick 203 – Bobby Brown – NT – Texas A&M – Houston
Pick 204 – Deontay Anderson – S – Houston – Chicago
Pick 205 – Charles Snowden – LB – Virginia – Tennessee
Pick 206 – Matt Bushman – TE – BYU – Indianapolis
Pick 207 – Tomon Fox – LB – North Carolina – Kansas City
Pick 208 – Spencer Brown – OT – Northern Iowa – Chicago
Pick 209 – Drake Jackson – C – Kentucky – LA Rams
Another one too deep in the draft can be a starting center from day one.
Pick 210 – Matt Allen – C – Michigan State – Baltimore
Pick 211 – Chauncey Golston – DE – Iowa – Cleveland
Pick 212 – T.J.Vasher – WR – Texas Tech – Houston
Pick 213 – Avery Williams – CB/KR – Boise State – Buffalo
A decent CB but his kick returning abilities are what you really draft him for.
Pick 214 – Luke Wattenberg – G – Washington – Green Bay
Pick 215 – Naquan Jones – NT – Michigan State – Tennessee
Pick 216 – Quinton Bohanna – NT – Kentucky – Pittsburgh
Pick 217 – D.J.Daniel – CB – Georgia – Tampa Bay
Pick 218 – Jack Anderson – G – Texas Tech – New Orleans
Anderson is the sort of player Jon Gruden and John Madden would love, he is an all-action old-school thumper. For that reason alone he is worth giving him a shot.
Pick 219 – Shakur Brown – CB – Michigan State – Atlanta
Pick 220 – Dazz Newsome – WR – North Carolina – Green Bay
Pick 221 – Dustin Krum – QB – Kent State – Chicago
Pick 222 – Rico Bussey – WR – Hawaii – Carolina
Pick 223 – Evan McPherson – K – Florida – Minnesota
Rookie kickers Blakenship and Bass were fine kickers last year, McPherson could follow in their footsteps.
Pick 224 – Max Duffy – P – Kentucky – Philadelphia
Nobody wants to resort to using their punter, but when you need one a good one is a great asset. Duffy looks really good.
Pick 225 – Kylen Granson – TE – SMU – Philadelphia
Pick 226 – Sadarius Hutcherson – G – South Carolina – Carolina
Pick 227 – Landon Young – OT – Kentucky – Dallas
Pick 228 – Nick Eubanks – TE – Michigan – Chicago
