Young veterans

Ben Burr-Kirven – linebacker – Turns 24 years of age in September

Similar to Jordyn Brooks, BBK is not the flashiest player, with no sacks in his rookie season and only 4 in his 47 games as a Washington Huskie. Again like Brooks is a tackling machine with 338 tackles in those 47 games.

As the potential starter at OLB in 2021, he could be set for a breakout sophomore season. He certainly has a lot of promise for a fifth round draft pick.

D.J.Reed – corner/nickel back – 24 years old

The Seahawks swiftly picked Reed up the day after the 49ers waived him. And that decision looked like a great one when Reed was required as cover last season following injuries to other members of the secondary.

Following the free agent departures in the offseason, Reed showed enough in these outings to give him a shot at being a game 1 starter in 2021.
